- Explanation:Using irc an admin can use his admin cmds,while he is allowed with any nickname to log in to the server and use /lspec to watch over people.(The admin will be recognized from his IP so when he logs in with another nickname than his original one,he can use only /lspec.)That means he won't be recognized(wouldn't even be shown on /admins list) when he gets online and after watching with /lspec,he could alt+tab and /kick or /ban people over irc.(If an admin has a dynamic IP,he could use a specific nickname or 2.)

I have seen similar systems,but not this exact one,so this couldn't be copying.

I've seen this before though, no names. It was RCON only though.

I like this idea. Why not have IRC admins just to ban the ban evaders etc. Anyways cerber.. it wont be "/lspec" anymore. Screw Ladmin and LuxAdmin.

Potara that was just for the idea.I think you all would agree that players rarely bother to visit a server's forum to report a cheater/rule breaker.They wouldn't lose their time gathering evidence.Admins could do their work more efficiently this way.

The irc is not only for ban evaders.The admins with fake nicknames will spectate and gather evidence fast and easy.They could solve much problems fast.Also,everyone will be afraid to break the rules since they wouldn't know if an admin is watching while there's no one in the /admins list.

Good idea. How bout, we log in with random names. And if we use the same password for the admin account that belongs to us, we can get our admin powers. For example if "Admins" pass is gta9912 and I want to go undercover, I can go with a different nick but put "gta9912" as my pass. This will give me admin powers while I am scanning server for rulebreakers.

Bad idea IMO, you'd need to keep a lot of unnecessary tracking of admins and their info.

Neither would a pass for all admins be a good idea, it'd most probably leak and needs to be changed all the time.

Hiddy no one will report rule breakers.At most some of them will get reported,we need good monitoring.

Each admin could just use a specific passowrd(not that of his original account,but appointed by each admin personally)to directly log in with unregistered nicknames.That way they could just use the nicknames and after leaving they'd let the nicknames be unregistered again.

And I'm definitely against giving all admin powers to the fake nickname.Only the spec command is needed,admin operations such as /kick and /ban should be used from the irc.That way everyone sees that a popular admin is doing his work,rather than random nicknames kicking and banning.

Just came up with this, "/remotelogin".

Here's how it's to be used:
/remotelogin <name> <pass>
name: The name of your original account
pass: The password of your original account.

It simply confirms that it's you on that account, and only identifies you as undercover admin.

well if I understood right we want to be admins without being seen ? well... guess what... we have /hide to hide us from the admin list

What about when people see us comming in?That could give us away.

We could have a code that hides admins in the "Joined" area. I have seen it before. Like an anti cheat but different. It will let blacklisted names hidden etc.
